Data privacy is an important issue. In the following we inform about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data are all data that are personally identifiable to you.

In the case of mere informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser technically transmits to our server in order to access the website (Article 5).

We wish to provide you with the required clarity (according to Article 12 GDPR). Therefore, the following overview of processing procedures:

Article 3 Legal bases in general

The legal basis for the processing of personal data required for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processing procedures that are necessary to perform pre-contractual measures.

 

If processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, and if the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail over the first interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as legal basis for processing. This is especially the case when we use tracking to optimize the website.

 

Insofar as the processing of personal data is required for the compliance with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.

 

In the event that the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.

 

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as legal basis.

Extensive rights:

 

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the intended storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, if these have not been collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details;
  • to request the immediate rectification or completion of your incorrect personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to comply with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • to request the restricted processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as you dispute the accuracy of the data or the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to have the data deleted and we no longer need the data, however, you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or if you have filed an objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transfer to another controller pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR;
  • to revoke your consent to us at any time pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. Consequently, we are no longer allowed to continue processing data based on this consent in the future and
  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual location or workplace or our office.

 

Exemptions

 

The right to deletion does not exist insofar as the processing is necessary

  • to exercise freedom of expression and information;
  • to perform a legal obligation required for processing under the law of the Union or of the Member States to which the controller is subject or to perform a task in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority conferred on the controller;
  • for reasons of public interest in the field of public health pursuant to Art. 9 para. 2 lit. h and i and Art. 9 para. 3 GDPR;
  • for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes pursuant to Art. 89 para. 1 GDPR, insofar as the law referred to under a) is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the attainment of the objectives of such processing, or
  • to assert, exercise or defend legal claims
Article 5 Use of the website

General data when accessing the web page

 

(1) In the case of mere informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which are technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

 

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • content of the request (specific page)
  • access status/HTTP status code
  • the transmitted quantity of data in each case
    the requesting website
  • browser
  • operating system and its interface
  • browser software language and version.

 

Log files

 

Storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.  Our legitimate interest in the processing of the data also lies in these purposes, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

 

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection.

 

Data stored in log files will be deleted after a maximum of seven days. Extended storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

 

Cookies

 

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk and assigned to the browser you use, through which certain information flows to the body that places the cookie (us, in this instance). Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve the purpose of making Internet offer more user-friendly and effective overall.

 

  • This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
    • Transient cookies
    • Persistent cookies.
  • Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID with which different requests of your browser can be assigned to the session. Your computer can thus be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log off or close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies in the safety settings of your browser at any time.

Integration of Google Maps

In addition, the data specified in Article 3 of this statement will be transmitted. Article 6 Social Media

We are also represented in social media. However, we do not embed a platform directly.If you click on the icons of the corresponding portals, the terms of use and data protection of the respective portals apply.

There is no obligation at any time to register with any of these portals for information purposes or to contact us (the provider). Instead, there are many more ways to contact us (phone, e-mail, contact form).

Unauthorized passing on of personal data through embedding does not exist.

Article 7 Integration of third-party services

Google Analytics

 

  • This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is transmitted to a server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the website operator Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator.
  • The IP address transmitted by your browser through Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

  • This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. IP addresses are thus processed truncated so that a personal reference can be ruled out. As far as the data collected about you is personal, it will be excluded immediately and the personal data will therefore be deleted promptly.
  • We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. By using the statistics obtained, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as the user.
