About us
Creating products that advance electric mobility does not only require an enormous level of passion and expertise, but what is equally important is to gear all associated processes and team structures to this objective.
Started as a spin-off of a leading developer of test systems for electric drives, innolectric combines the dynamics of a young company with the expertise of an experienced player in electromobility. Since 2018, we have been active on the market as an independent company. The company name stands for what is important to us: innovation in electronics.
In early 2023, innolectric entered into a strategic partnership with Bel Fuse Inc., strengthening its position in the rapidly developing market for on-board charging of electric commercial vehicles. The company Bel is a leading supplier of components that power, protect and connect electronic circuits. Through this partnership, both companies create synergies in the product portfolio so that customers can be served with various components from the partnership.
The competence of innolectric comprises the development and production of components along the electric drive train. Power electronics, charging communication and energy storage form the focus of the portfolio. In addition, we offer engineering services for questions relating to electromobility.
In addition to the innovative products with internal orientation, innolectric’s social responsibility towards its employees is also convincing. The regional proximity to universities as well as the location at the CampusQuartier Bochum enable the long-term development and retention of employees, even during their studies.
Quality management certified according to ISO 9001:2015
High demands are placed on innovative products for electric mobility. Not only to meet these requirements, but to exceed them for the customers is the daily incentive for the innolectric team. Focused on this, the innolectric corporate structure is consistently geared to maximum quality: Lean structures, clear processes and standardized tools are the basis for this. In 2019, this clear orientation was recognized by TÜV Nord as a certified quality management system in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Award “Innovative through research”
Through our participation in research projects, we are further developing electric mobility as a component of our future life. As a research-driven company, innolectric was awarded at nationwide level the seal “Innovative through research” by the Stifterverband in the year 2020. With this award, the Stifterverband honors entrepreneurial commitment to research and development.
Since 1920, the Stifterverband has embodied the joint responsibility of German companies for a sustainable and liveable society. DAX-listed corporations, medium-sized companies, business associations, founders and committed private individuals – around 3,000 members have joined together in the Stifterverband. They are the nucleus of a network of business, science, politics and civil society that is unique in Germany. The core topics of the Stifterverband are education, science and innovation.
